Labor Relations
On behalf of its members, BCA labor experts negotiate collective bargaining agreements with craft unions throughout the region.  When needed, BCA professionals represent individual member companies on issues of labor relations -- from grievance hearings and arbitrations to labor law jurisdictional issues.  

Industry Advancement
The BCA also manages the contributions by its members for industry advancement activities, providing the resources to maintain and improve the economic vitality of the industry and the broader regional economy.

Business-to-Business Relations
The BCA regularly joins forces with other trade associations, coalitions and professional organizations to advance the interest of its members.  The BCA works with policy committees, citizen advisory groups and task forces to resolve many of the pressing issues that challenge growth and development.

Government Relations
Every business day, the BCA is called upon to discuss and meet with government officials to resolve rules and regulations to meet project goals.  The BCA provides formal testimony and commentary on issues affecting building and construction at all levels of government.

Safety & Health
As a vital conduit of news and information, the BCA is firmly committed to keeping its members abreast of ever-changing regulations, issues and conditions regarding building safety.  Daily contact with government agencies and authorities, including OSHA, enables the BCA to make its members aware of new workplace rules and designs to ensure the well being of workers and the general public.
